The grain is interlocked and sometimes has an irregular grain with a fairly coarse but even texture . The timber is very durable and has a wide range of uses, typically interior and exterior joinery, boat building and decking.PLEASE NOTETimber is a natural product and subject to the effect of atmospheric conditions, this causes timber to expand and contract which may cause size variations and some surface checking.Posts are treated with industry leading oil from Osmo. Exterior timbers turn grey or silver over time as a result of exposure to the sun and rain. Osmo UV Extra is a high-quality oil that protects against the greying effect of the sun's UV rays on exterior wood by a factor of 12. It offers superb durability against weathering with an added biocide to combat insect attack and fungal growth.
